HUARI

HUARI

The Huari civilization, one of the great cultures of pre-Inca Peru, is the inspiration behind HUARI, ESCVDO’s Pre Spring 2026 collection. Known for their geometry, textile innovation, and symbolism, the Huari left a powerful visual language. One that still resonates.

HUARI PS26 translates this iconography into a wardrobe of sharp silhouettes, layered Pima Cotton textures, and colors that vibrate with intention. Earth tones meet mineral hues, while deep greens and blues echo the Andean landscape. It’s a color palette that recalls a land where gold, water, and clay coexist in harmony. In Huari tapestries, color seems to fight its form to become energy. That same spirit is woven into the collection.

While also exploring ESCVDO’s classic crochet silhouettes, HUARI provided a powerful inspiration for laid back, light layering in the softest Pima cotton, as well as woven dresses and tunics embellished with braided tassels, and hand applied fringes which speak of the time, care and patient craft behind its textile creation

Huari textiles narrate a story of rituals. Soft organic bases are punctuated by details inspired by their ceramics, while abstract sun and star motifs hint at a larger cosmology.

Made in Peru by local artisans using traditional techniques, HUARI PS26 honors a past that still pulses in every thread.
